ONE SHOP. THREE HOMES. ONE COURTYARD.

This prototypical design provides three distinct housing types to fit your specific needs: a light-filled 3-bedroom home, an airy 2-bedroom home and a cozy studio home. The home is designed for the 40’x100’ infill lot where the main street is on the southern end of the lot and a lane is added, if not existing, to the lot’s northern end.

DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS | 1. Comfort: Light filled interior spaces and exterior connections provide a sense of comfort and home in an urban environment. This is achieved through the careful design of tree wells and north/south facing windows and balcony/patio spaces. 2. Community: The shared central courtyard   connects the three homes while providing amenities such as outdoor kitchen and dining. 3. Cost: Cost per home is reduced by increasing density with three homes in one lot and adding a commercial unit at the front of the lot which provides additional income to the residents.
